Since 1945, Millerbernd Manufacturing Company has provided innovative solutions for the steel fabrication industry. Millerbernd started by rebuilding industrial equipment and manufacturing machinery. Then, during World War II, the company began contracting to fabricate components used in portable electric generators. Millerbernd designed and built most of its own unique rings and cylinders with precise roundness and high metallic integrity. In 1946, Millerbernd took this technology and began to explore innovative uses of steel for lighting structures. It started with lighting towers and has gone on to develop freestanding light poles up to 200’ in height.
